JONH WAGNER AMARANTE

Head of the Department of Radiological Protection at Eletronuclear Graduated in Chemistry from Universidade Federal Fluminense – UFF, John Wagner Amarante has worked at Central Nuclear Almirante Álvaro Alberto-CNAAA since 1996. He is currently Head of the Department of Radiological Protection at Eletronuclear. He is licensed by CNEN since 2005 as a Radioprotection Supervisor in the areas of Radioactive Waste Management in Initial Deposits and performance in Nuclear Power Plants. Until the end of 2002, he worked as a chemist at the Environmental Monitoring Laboratory (LMA) as coordinator of the conventional chemistry area. Between 2003 and 2016 he worked as a supervisor in the Tailings, Effluents and Transport area of the Radiological Protection Department. Since 2017, he has been serving as head of the Department of Radiological Protection at CNAAA.
