Elvira Baracuhy Cavalcanti Presta is a business administrator, with a bachelor's and master's degree from UFPE, a post-MBA for Board Members from the Saint Paul Business School and a postgraduate degree in Business Management from Fundação Dom Cabral. He participated in executive education programs at LSE (UK), IMD (Switzerland), ESADE (Spain), University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (USA) and took the IBGC Board of Directors training course. She served as executive director of Planning and Control at Neoenergia, from 2013 to 2016. She also served as fiscal counselor at Norte Energia, for one year, as a representative of Neoenergia. She was Finance Director of MRS Logística, from 2010 to 2013, and Controller of Grupo Light, from 2006 to 2010. She was a Board Member and member of the Audit and Statutory Risk Committee of Eletrobras in 2018. At Eletrobras, she chairs the Boards of the subsidiaries Chesf and CGT Eletrosul
