He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, a Master's degree in Nuclear Structure from the University of São Paulo and a PhD in Nuclear Technology from the University of São Paulo. She is currently a researcher at the National Nuclear Energy Commission, postgraduate advisor at the University of São Paulo and leader of Research Groups at CNPq. Has experience in the areas of Atomic and Nuclear Physics, working mainly on the following topics: Applications of Radioisotopes with emphasis on multidisciplinary research in the areas of environmental and life sciences using the techniques of Beta and Gamma Spectroscopy, Gamma Spectrometry, Angular Correlation, Activation Analysis with Neutrons and X-Ray Fluorescence. In this field of research, he participates in projects supported by FAPESP, FAPERJ, CNPq, CAPES, IPEN, IBu, UNISA and also by the IAEA through the ARCAL program (Acuerdo Regional de Cooperación para La Promoción de la Ciencia y Nuclear technology in Latin America and the Caribbean). He created and coordinates the Laboratory of Spectroscopy and Radiation Spectrometry (LEER), at the Research Reactor Center at IPEN/CNEN-SP. At the same time, she works in the field of Scientific Dissemination as editor of the Jovem Cientista website as well as in the development of alternative proposals for Physics Teaching. More recently, he has worked on studies on Archaeometry directed to the characterization of art objects and cultural heritage using non-destructive analytical techniques.
